This Week in Mischief-Making…
Sticky fingers on your keyboard, explosive diaper changes in the middle of a call, and constant interruptions that don’t allow you to complete a single thought – being a parent and an entrepreneur
I think of that BBC dad whose kids interrupted him while covering a very serious topic on national TV and I can’t stop laughing….
While this brought international attention to the hilarious “dangers” of working at home while you’re kids are there, it’s really not that uncommon.
That’s a mom’s every day.
(Am I right?!?)
So this issue, I’m featuring the women out there who are crushing it both as moms and as entrepreneurs – or at least making it look easy!
I wanted to dig in deep and discover how each of these different business women juggled it all. And to see how different mompreneurs handle their kids, partners and businesses and keep all the balls in the air (while earning a sustainable income at the same time!)
What I loved most about this issue was learning about all the different ways mompreneurs incorporate their kids into their work. Clever, ladies…very clever. Put that free
This month, you’ll learn about maverick military moms, media gurus, monsters, and more – including how much we all rely on coffee to stay alive! I can’t tell you how many headshots I received with a mug of coffee featured in them somewhere.
And thank you to everyone who wrote to us last month with your feedback on our premiere issue!
If you haven’t “flipped through the pages” of Mindful Mavericks Magazine before, our format is unconventional in the magazine world. You know I wouldn’t do it the same-
I’ve created the features to be in a single, quick-read format so you can learn about our Mavericks with ease. And it was designed mindfully and intentionally so that you could compare our featured Mavericks’ journeys, apples-to-apples, to see that there’s no one way to be successful, no one way to pursue your vision, no one way to show up in the world – there is only YOUR WAY. And when you tune out all the noise and stay in your own lane, you can find that
So, give your free spirit permission to play, dream and be inspired by the features in this issue.
And who knows… if you follow the smell of fresh Rosemary, Espresso and good
Wouldn’t that be delicious?
