Day Trading Like A Diva

1. What’s your mission?

My mission is to inspire and help total beginners, who have a desire but no concrete knowledge of day trading, to learn in an easy, super simplified manner.

Day trading has become a stigma with fear and power around it. And with my own experience of becoming a day trader, it is actual the opposite. It can be simplified and has been the key component of taking me on a spiritual journey and transformation.

2. Tell us about your organization/business. How long did it take you to reach important milestones in your business?

I started my day trading journey exactly five years ago. It’s been a strong desire for me for years before that and finally made the move to jump in full force on my 40^th birthday.

I had NO IDEA how hard it would be. Not so much for the learning process. That was challenging, for sure, but more because there is no one taking you from step one. All the academies treat you like you are born with knowledge of the financial markets and usually you spend more time trying to catch up and wasting money learning the basics, which in turn makes you feel like a failure.

Once I had my aha moment of seeing that no one at all starts teaching the basics, that’s when I realized I needed to be the one to teach it.

The hard part for me was mental. However, it stemmed from feeling like I am always behind, and that everyone else is doing better than me. When in reality, they weren’t. A lot of people were struggling as much as me. And it usually came back to the basics.

No one teaches the basics. I do now. And that is how I position myself in a world of day traders. Plus, being female in a 95% male dominated industry has been great. And even more so, that I don’t lie. I’m transparent about the process. You will NOT come out making $300 a day after only 1 week of being in the market.

Smaller profits daily bring bigger profits yearly and also build confidence that can be destroyed all to easily day trading with the wrong idea of how important it is to truly study and hone your craft.

And it is a craft, a skill.

3. Tell us about the “business scares”: Was there a moment where you ever seriously contemplated quitting?

I have had sooo many breakdowns. I mean, on the floor feeling sooo dejected, failed, a complete loser. Losing my money in the market over and over and over again.

But I was so determined, that I simply didn’t know anything else to do.

It took me two years of serious breakdowns to finally have a really huge break through. And I have thought of quitting so many times, but honestly – I simply didn’t know what else to do.

4. Did you ever “fail” or make a substantial mistake in business?

Hahahaha! Colossally! In day trading, now that I have been doing it for so long and have been truly immersed in this world, if you don’t fail and make serious mistakes you will NEVER grow. It’s kind of part of the growth process.

My biggest failure or mistake was not trusting in myself. That’s always hard, right? Trust is a funny thing, you really need to develop it. We pretend we have it, but in reality it is something that we have to work on every day, sometimes every hour of the day.

And trust was probably the one thing that took the longest for me to acquire.

5. Any serious Challenges?

Huge challenges! I remember screaming at the sky – “Universe why did you give me this strong desire to trade and make it so SO hard for me to do it!”

It has been the most challenging experience of my life, yet the most transformational. I always say, ‘Trading has been the greatest mentor of my life’ and I am forever grateful to having stepped on this path.

And today I talk about how transformational day trading really is, it will make you a better person. It doesn’t matter if you become an ultra successful day trader or simply use it as a side income, it makes you really look deep into yourself.

6. How did you overcome and resolve it?

I finally realized that it has nothing to do with the market. Mr. Market doesn’t discriminate and it’s not against me. I finally realized it was all me. My thoughts, my actions, my REACTIONS. And then I started on my personal development/ personal growth journey to fully change my mindset. Let’s just say I had way way too much baggage and never even knew it was there. And it has been one of the best journey’s I’ve ever set foot on.

7. What’s the most impactful action you’ve taken to reach your business goal/s?

Almost within the first year of starting my day trading education I realized that there are simply no women in this field. I understand that the aggressiveness and the stigma behind is can be really scary, and I wanted to form a community of women traders.

It took me another 3 years before I started doing it because I had to overcome my own challenges in day trading. However, it did take me three years to start the community process more of doubting that other women would be interested. However, when I started it, I was shocked and so delighted to see that I was inspiring other women to join up.

This was after I had realized that day trading can be simplified and had come up with my own system to teach others how to do it simply.

8. What would you tell your younger/earlier self? Any piece of advice?

Trust in the process. If I didn’t go thru all that I went through, I wouldn’t be the person I am today and inspiring the way I can today.

I needed to go through all that I went through. As shitty as it was and as hard as it was, it has brought me here today. And I’m so grateful for being right where I am today, right now.

9. What the best advice YOU’VE ever received about pursuing your vision?

My vision quickly turned into becoming an inspiration and voice for women to day trade, and I remember wanting to start but being in total resistance and I had a coaching call with a new coach, and she literally has changed my path for everything today.

She said to me, (she believed completely in my vision – more than I did at the time), “How dare you NOT start teaching women how to day trade. How dare you sit on your idea when sooo many people can be benefiting from you. You are truly doing the world a disservice!”

And that’s when I said, “f**k it,” and started the community the next day.

10. Has having success or money changed you? In what ways?

Not at all, actually I use that money to reinvest in making things better, so I don’t see it as having more money or success. I am not where I want to be yet, and am always finding new ways to grow.

However, I do get to donate a lot more money and buy more things for donations. So that helps me a lot.

11. How do you create, innovate or break the rules in your life/business?

I am the only person in the business who says it like it is. You are not going to be a millionaire and make thousands a day after barely even starting. It’s a lie and most academies and gurus live off making people believe this.

But the biggest way I have changed this industry is also showing the spiritual side of day trading. This has always shocked everyone when I talk about it. But it’s so true. If you are not mindful, humble, meditative you will NEVER succeed in day trading. Or, anything in life.

12. Tell us about your most successful launch. What was it for and what really moved the needle for you to make it a success?

At this point I’ve had several launches. But for me the most successful one to date was my first one. Because it took me so long to start the community and build my course because I was so nervous that no one wanted to learn the basics, to have a woman trader do it, to see day trading in a new light one that is available for everyone.

So when my first launch took place August 1, 2016 and I had 27% conversion I knew I was doing the right thing.
